Paige Badgett is a historical romance author of Austen-inspired fiction.

 

A lifelong storyteller, Paige credits her love of reading to her mother and the book club that has been meeting for nearly two decades. Her debut novel, Against Every Expectation, was published in 2022. Her short story, The Heart's Consent, appeared in the multi-author anthology An Inducement into Matrimony, a collection of nine stories inspired by Pride and Prejudice. The Making of Lady Catherine de Bourgh is her second novel.

 

Paige lives in the Kansas City area with her husband and son. By day, she works as a communications professional for a technology company. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drinking coffee from her favorite mug, and trying to keep pace with her adventurous, athletic, and music-loving son.
